Audio / video sync test

A ball strikes a wall once a second — the click plays at impact, so any AV-sync drift jumps out.

Put this on the target display + sound system. If the click reaches your ears the instant the ball hits the wall, you're in sync; any lead or lag is delay to dial out.

how it works

A ball bounces once per second, hitting the bottom line exactly where the centre vertical line crosses it — the click plays at that instant. Fullscreen the page on the target display and watch the bounce: if the click lands early or late, glance at where the ball is along the bottom ruler to read the offset in milliseconds (− means audio is early, + means it lags).

Need this math wired into a real system? We do that for a living.
